What the organization attends directly.

Casa de la Mujer provides guidance, comprehensive support and legal representation at a social cost to women experiencing sexist violence. The Observatory records these cases in order to expose the bottlenecks in the justice system and demand effective answers from the State.

Legal representation in criminal cases under Law 348 (physical, psychological and sexual violence, attempted femicide) and in family maintenance and custody proceedings.

Individual and group therapy for emotional recovery, building independence, and expert support during hearings.

Health and shelter area

Timely medical care, support in situations of extreme crisis, and temporary emergency accommodation at the shelter for survivors and their daughters and sons.

The municipality, district and court where the case is filed.

Type of incident

The type of violence reported, as defined by Law 348.

Demographic profile

Age, occupation and socioeconomic situation of the woman making the report.

Stage of proceedings

Formal report, charges, precautionary measures, indictment and sentence.
