The communications arm of Casa de la Mujer, on air since October 11, 1998.
Reach and impact
A presence across Santa Cruz
Community and feminist radio station
This radio emerges as the medium through which Casa de la Mujer extends its liberating, emancipatory, and transformative message of unequal relations among people and peoples, making differences visible without diminishing their value in a plural world that seeks to consolidate an inclusive, solidary Plurinational State without discrimination of any kind.
Casa de la Mujer understands communication as the most effective tool for liberation from situations of domination, which is why, daily, it broadcasts its programming of social content committed to human rights, especially those of women.
On October 11, 1998, it went on the air for the first time, becoming the alternative and alter-active radio option for women, indigenous peoples, and populations in the urban peripheries.
Its goal is to promote the democratization of speech, contributing to the different processes of citizen participation and communication, to propose equality, respect for differences, and the rejection of violence. It contributes to the construction of a culture of peace.
Voice and democracy
Democratising speech and building a culture of peace
The radio option for women, indigenous peoples and the urban outskirts since 1998.
Vision
A leading media outlet in promoting and defending human rights, in preventing violence and advocating for public policies that respond to the needs and demands of women, above all the eradication of violence; a medium that bets on depatriarchalisation and interculturality to reach justice.
Mission
To contribute, through communication, to the empowerment of women, promoting the enforceability and the exercise of their rights, and to raise among the listening public the respect for the diverse citizenships so necessary for gender equality and justice, within the framework of the Plurinational State.
