A space to learn, contribute, and transform

Casa de la Mujer is also a space for training, participation, and collective construction in human rights with an intersectional and gender approach.

Through our volunteering and internship programs, we offer the opportunity to get to know and accompany the work of a feminist organization committed to preventing and addressing gender-based violence.

Volunteers and interns can strengthen their knowledge and skills by taking part in institutional activities, awareness-raising and training processes, research, communication, advocacy, project support, and other actions linked to defending human rights and preventing sexist violence. (Unpaid)

Students and professionals from public and private universities in Bolivia

We welcome students in the final years of their university studies, graduates, and professionals from fields related to:

  • Social Sciences and Humanities.
  • Legal Sciences and Law.
  • Social Communication and related fields.
  • Sociology, Social Work, Psychology, and other related disciplines.
  • Other fields that, given their training and experience, can contribute to the institution's goals.

International volunteering

We also welcome international volunteers from fields, academic areas, and professions related to the work of Casa de la Mujer, who are interested in learning about the Bolivian context, exchanging experiences, and contributing their knowledge and skills to our processes.

International volunteering seeks to promote spaces for the exchange of knowledge, mutual learning, and collective construction, recognizing the importance of experiences and knowledge developed in different contexts and territories.

In all cases, we especially value commitment to human rights, gender equality, social justice, and the construction of societies free of violence and discrimination.

Open calls

Be part of our team

At Casa de la Mujer, we believe that building a society free of violence requires the commitment, social sensitivity, and participation of people dedicated to defending human rights and gender equality.

Through our open calls, we seek to bring in people with the training, experience, and motivation to contribute to the processes of prevention, care, protection, and response to gender-based violence, as well as to strengthening social and political advocacy, awareness-raising, and the promotion of the rights of women and diverse populations.

Job opportunities take place across different areas and projects of the institution, according to the needs and profiles required for each call.

We invite professionals and people with related experience or training to stay attentive to our open calls and to become part of a feminist organization committed to social transformation and building a life free of violence.
